This weeks "Where in the World" is appropriate because this is where the treaty of Versailles was signed, which would eventually lead to the end of World War 1 on November 11th, 1918. It was signed on June 28th 1919. It took actually 6 months of negotiations at the Paris Peace conference to conclude the peace treaty.The treaty was registered by the secretariant of the League Of Nations on October 21,1919 , and was printed in the LEAGUE OF NATIONS Treaty Series.Of the many provision in the treaty,one of the most important was Germany was required to except responsibilities for causing the war.That is why i think this is appropriate for this weeks "Where In The World".
I think that this weekes "Where in the World" is appropriate because the Versailles is were people in WWI signed a truce saying that the war had ended. They held the treaty there because it was a big enough place to hold all the people that were going.

The Versailles is a place where the leaders of different countries would come and sign a peace treaty, declaring that WWI was officially over. This week is Remembrance week, because November 11th is remembrance day, and that day is this week. On remembrance day, we remember the soldiers that fought in the wars. That is how the Versailles sighting ties in with this week.
