  3. Cave of Swallows

This 333m deep limestone cave is one of the biggest in Mexico, It is The Cave of Swallow. This cave has a 49m by 63m mouth it’s not hard to miss. The cave was opened by water erosion and was first explored on December 27 1966 by T.R Evens. This humongous cave only takes 10 seconds to hit the floor falling from the top without a parachute and 20 minutes with one. The cave floor is covered with debris, scorpions, snakes and millipedes. Even though it’s a 333m deep cave it is only the second biggest in Mexico and only the 11th deepest in the world, but yet can hold 2 Empire State buildings on top of each other. This really is a big cave.

  4. The Cave of Swallow
December 27th 1966, was the first exploration of the Cave of Swallow in Mexico. The Cave was created by water erosion, and is now 333m deep and 49m by 62m wide. Making the Cave of Swallow the 11th largest cave shaft in the world, and second in Mexico. Also, the Cave of Swallow can fit two Empire State building on top of each other! It takes 10 seconds to get to the bottom, and 20 minutes with a parachute. Once you’re at the bottom of the cave you will find living scorpions, snakes and millipedes .When you climb out it takes approximately 40 minutes to 2 hours. So when you are in Mexico feel free to stop by the Cave of Swallow.

  5. The monument we will be talking about is 333 feet deep, was created by water erosion, the 11th deepest hole in the world and is found in Mexico. We are talking about the one the only cave of swallows.
Do you want to know what I think is crazy, there is no fence surrounding it if you were to accidently fall in. It takes ten seconds to get to the bottom of it but takes 40 minutes to 2 hours to get up. Every morning flocks of birds fly out of the cave. I have learned a lot about the cave of swallows and now it is definitely on my list of places to go.

  6. The cave of swallows is the 11th deepest cave in the world. Every single morning, flocks of birds fly out of the cave, usually white-collared swifts and green parakeets. It was opened up by water erosion, the first exploration in 1966. The cave has no restrictions for anything, which makes it a popular site for tourism and extreme sports. At the bottom of the cave of swallows, you can find living millipedes, scorpions, and snakes. That is exactly why I will stay my distance away from Mexico and the cave of swallows. It can fit two stacked empire state buildings inside, making it the second largest cave in all of Mexico. I personally can't believe that there are caves that are bigger than this one, but earth is a crazy place. -Skittles

The cave of swallows is a 333 ft deep cave that is the 11th deepest caves in the world. It was created by water erosion in Mexico. The first exploration of this cave was in 1966 by T.R. Evans, Charles Borland, and Randy Sterns. Being one of the deepest caves in the world it can take up to 2 hours 40 minutes to climb back up. Not to mention that birds can live in the holes in the walls that are made up of limestone. An interesting fact is that massive rain storms can cause waterfalls down the cave. At the mouth of the cave is massive vegetation growth. I think that this is an amazing catastrophe that the earth has once again pulled off. What amazing place do we live on?

  8. Located in Aquismon, Mexico one of the world’s most amazing natural land marks on earth, the cave of shallows a huge cave shaft about 1220 feet drop to the very bottom of the cave. In fact it is so large that it can engulf the entire empire state building. It is the 11 largest cave in the world. Some times people go sky diving in the cave. It takes about 45 minutes and 2 hours. This place is one of the most amazing place to see on earth

  9. The cave of swallows
Just imagine yourself in front of one the biggest caves in the world, one slip and in 10 seconds you’re at the cave floor. The cave of swallows is one of the largest known shafts in the world, after water erosion it left a gaping hole with its mouth 49 by 62 meters. This natural wonder and hold some of man’s greatest creations it can hold both the Chrysler building and the empire state building. Long jump from top to bottom is a large 1214 ft. the most stunning thing about it is that it is made out of limestone not only that even birds have decided to make their nests in the holes in the walls. The cave of swallows is open to anyone who desires to see and experience for themselves it most beautiful to see right after right after rain fall because it makes a water fall that surrounds the outer most edge. The cave of swallows is truly a sight to be seen.

  10. In 1966 the swallows was explored by T.R. Evens and his crew. It was opened up by water erosion and is the 11th deepest cave shaft in the world. It would take a person 20 minutes to get to the bottom with a parachute and 10 seconds without one. The mouth of the cave is 49m x 62m wide and 333m deep. The birds live in the holes in the side of the cave and at the bottom there are scorpions, snakes, and millipedes. Massive rain is able to cause waterfalls to flow over the side of the cave. I think the Cave of Swallows is a really cool place on the planet and would be a great place to go and visit.

  13. The Cave of Swallows:
In 1966, the 11th largest cave in the world was discovered by T.R. Evens and his crew(Haha). It's located at 21 degrees North and 99 degrees West in San Louis Potasi, Mexico. It's dubbed " The Cave of Swallows" or " The Swallow Cave". The mouth of the cave is 49 by 62 metres wide. The free fall to bottom of the cave is a 333 metre drop (Approximately 10 seconds without a parachute and around 20 minutes with a parachute). People come everyday to jump of this massive cave and climb back up! I personally would love to jump off this cave and climb back up for a thrill and I hope I can try it sometime.
