  1. The Tower of London is located in London, England. It was built by William the Conqueror and it was completed in 1389. The tower has been everything from a Royal Observatory to a zoo, but it is most famous for its prisoners. 112 people were executed on the hill outside and 7 seven people including Ann Boleyn and Catherine Howard (both wives of Henry the VIII) where put to death inside the castle. It was also a prison to Queen Elizabeth I for a short period of time! Today it houses the Crown Jewels. The Tower of London is 27m high and it is made of Caen stone imported from France. So, “Off to the tower!”

  2. Todays where in the world was the Tower of London. It is located in London, England. The tower was built by William the conqueror and was completed in 1389. The tower was used as a prison during world war II and still after the tower was a prison even the famous explorer Martin Frobisher had stayed his time in the Tower of London. Legend has it that if the ravens leave the Tower of London the tower will crumble and a great crisis will come to England. 112 people were executed on the hill and 7 inside tower walls. The wives of King Henry VII were also but to death and they were put to death inside tower walls. People say that the tower is haunted by the spirits of the people that were executed by the Tower of London. The tower is 27 meters high and is made out of sheet rock. This where in the world I found extremely interesting and was fun the search about so this is my paragraph on the Tower of London.

  4. The Tower of London was built in London, England in the late 1066’s by William the Conqueror. He completed it in 1389. The Tower was used as a Royal Residence, a zoo and much more. Although the Tower was not built to be a prison, it was convenient to keep prisoners there because it was near the courts in Westminster, and was a Royal strong hold. Legend has it, that the Tower is haunted, and that ghosts rome around inside. This is thought because prisoners were executed and beheaded there. Today the Tower of London is one of the largest tourist attractions in England.

  6. The Tower of London is an old but famous castle, completed in 1389, built by William the Conqueror. It is also known as "Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress", and it's over 1000 years old! This tower is used as everything from a zoo to a prison! Many spooky myths are told about ghosts and spirits that haunt this mysterious tower, such as the ghost of Anne Boleyn who is said to walk around at night holding her head under her arm. 3 of Henry VIII's wives were executed at this tower. There were 7 people puto to death at the tower, and 112 people executed on the hill¸! The Tower of London seems like a pretty creepy place to me; having a reputation of torture and death, but it still would be an amazing place to visit one day.

The Tower is famous for many things, one of them is the ravens, the ravens have been living there since it has been built and that is very important. Legend has it that if the ravens leave, the white tower will fall and a great disaster will strike London. The Tuwer also as many ghost stories, one of them says that the ghost of Anne Boleyn walks around at night carrying her decapitated head under her armpit. 15. The Tower of London was built by William the Conquer and completed in 1389. The proper name is His Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress and it has been everthing from a zoo to a dark prison. The Tower of London was famous for the people imprisoned in it, like Elizabeth the 1st and Martin Frobisher. 112 people were executed on the hill outside and 7 were put to death inside. There are many stories about ghosts like the one about Anne Boleyn. She is said to walk around the building at night with her head under her arm. Some people say that the only way out of the tower was the Traitors Gate. A myth is that ravens have lived in the Tower of London for hundreds of years, and if they leave it will create the white tower to crumble leaving a huge disaster for England.

  17. Londan Englands tower of Londan is a extream part of history that has had to survive through several excruciating battles that would mean disaster for the kingdom and its people. I would think that there would be a lot more torture and death but with less then 120 people executed in its history. I could not ever sleep there cause I am absoluty terrified of ghosts.

  18. ''To the Tower'' is a popular saying that originated in London England ''to the Tower'' means to the Tower of London which at times was used as a prison. The Tower of london was opened in 1389 and was the majesty's royal palace but was so conveniently used as a prison because it was so close to the courthouses. The Tower of London only held religious prisoners and is famous for the engravements made by the prisoners fingernails. The Tower of London has a reputation of torture and death which is weird due to there only being 7 executions. The Tower of London is also famous for its sightings of ghosts like the host of Anne Boleyn who was beheaded at the Tower of London and has allegedly been seen walking the halls with her head under her arm.In my opinion the Tower of London sounds like a spooky yet amazing place that I would love to visit.~Ciara

  19. The tower of London now that's a chilling name with a reputation of torture and death. It was also used as a royal residence. With 112 people killed on the hill and 7 killed in the tower you wonder if its a prison or a death camp. King henry the 8th killed 3 of his wives in this tower. On a lighter note the tower of London is a great part of British history and is a national treasure.
