Welcome to the pond

Welcome to the pond

September 2012

Dear Students,

Unfortunately I am not able to welcome you back this September. Two weeks ago I went into the hospital to have a chest x-ray to see if I had bronchitis. Instead the doctors found a problem with my heart. To make a long story short, the doctors had to repair my mitral valve. The operation was a success and now I am going through the healing process. I look forward to teaching you later this year.

Mr. S.

  1. Hello Mr.Santarelli It's Eric. I am very excited for you to teach me. I have heard very good things about you. Alana wishes that you get better and the best regards. I also hope that you get better very quickly. Miss G is very nice and a good replacement teacher. We are going to the school bbq tonight. I think it would be better if you were there. Hope your feeling better. Keep us posted.

  5. Dear Mr. Santarelli,
I’m very sorry that you had surgery on your heart but am very glad that the operation was a complete success! I hope you recover soon because we ALL are looking forward, with great pleasure as having you as our teacher. Miss. G has been great over the past few days and is bring us back up to speed. It’s not the EXACT same way that you would teach but it is fun. We are keeping you in each prayer we pray and in our thoughts throughout the day. We will be well prepared for you when you return (which I hope is as soon as possible and when you are very healthy) and are very excited! :)

The very best wishes as possible,
    Extremely best of luck,
Get well ASAP (and in good shape),
    Miss you,
    Laura :) <3

  8. Dear Mr. Santarelli,

I'm so happy to hear that you are on the road to recovery. It is clear that you are missed by your students but it is important that you get back into tiptop shape before coming back to school. While you are mending, you can plot out the many ingenious activities that you will be completing with your kids upon your return. I'm certain that you will be up to all sorts of mischief when you are back in action!

    Take care and God bless!
