When Jesus was here on Earth he taught about many important ideas. One of those ideas was Human Rights and Responsibilities. View the following video and write a comment on what you think human rights are.

  1. Some human rights are that you can do anything together instead of letting and watching people die from poverty and famine. Also that you can take action to help other people from other really poor countrys like Africa by having a bake sale or other fundraisers.

  2. I learned that anybody can make a differance and WE are never alone no matter how tuff it is. Also you can make a differance by saveing other lives by giveing them food or fresh water.

  4. Canada has many rights and one is that we can make a difference! We are lucky to live in a free country where as long as we do not go out of control we can stand up for what we believe in! There are many ways that we can make a difference you can do something small like help a friend a school or something a bit bigger like raising money for a charity. We can raise money for people in Africa who don't have the same rights that we have and if we want to help them we have the rights to! We can be the change, let’s make a difference!!

  5. Humans have the right to:
-Have food and water. In order to survive we need to keep our bodies healthy by eating food and clean water.
-Have shelter. We need shelter to protect us from weather and to keep us safe.
-Have medical care. If we are ill we have the right to be treated.
-To have education. We have the right to be educated, to learn and become an important member of the community.
-We have the right to choose our own words. We have the right to say our own words and thoughts.

In Canada we are very lucky to have all these points and to be treated equally.

  6. Canada has alot of rights but the best one is that we can make a difference. Our contry has many rights like voting, food water & shelter, health care , and safty. All these rights are in Canada but not in africa, India and more. But Canada gives the rights to those contrys so they can live. Are school also does fundraisers for the poor like canfood ,sleeping childen around the world and more. So by doing something small or big we can all make a difference.

  7. We can make so many diffrences in our world but one thing is that one person can not change the world we all contribuet and that is why we are healthy but if we can make every country healthy by giving them water, food, shelter and most importantly help So by gathering every one you can we can make a diffrence in life.

Some people in very poor areas have very little shelter, food and fresh water. Also, some children are not educated, especially girls or some young boys have to fight for their country in war. You can help these people by doing fundraisers like bakesales to make their life easier.

  9. Rights are like the ability to have freedom. Here in Canada we are so fortunate that we have the rights to education, health and the freedom of speech. Rights give us a chance to make a difference, to be healthy and become a good person. In Canada, everyone has rights, not just certain groups of people. We are lucky that we have human rights because in some other countries people don't have them. They have to work harder than we do to get less than what we get. In Canada, no matter what we all get paid. It is sad to think about how in less fortunate countries the citizens don't have the right to the health care and education that we get everyday. We the people have freedom to speak and make a difference. In the end our rights are an amazing gift because they allow us to be treated equally in all ways.

I think WE have a right to make a difference. We shouldn't wait, we should help others instead of watching them suffer. Canada can change the world!

  12. I think that we have a right to all be treated equally. Everybody has a right to have food, shelter, water, education, ETC. But since not everyone has access to these sources, we should all come together to make a difference. No one should be left out. Everyone should share the wealth with other people not as fortunate. Nobody should be suffering from lack of access to things humans need, EX: food and water. The power of "We" is so strong that it is powerful enough to change the world.

  20. All humans have the right to speack what they want. Around the world there are hundreds of people working inforced labour in extreamly bad condition. Lots of people around the world don't have propere health care. It is very important that we have propere health care. If you were serisly injured and you had to go to the hospital but you couldn't because you couldn't pay for it. That is whats happing around the world today. We are so lukey to live in a place like Canada. together WE can be the change.
